Are you looking for something fun for your visually-impaired child to do this summer? Do you want your child to get to experience fun in the sun and sand with other impaired children and caring adults?
Then we invite your child to join us at Camp Leo! Held in Hilton Head Island every summer, Camp Leo is an ocean-oriented experience for legally blind children of South Carolina aged 7 to 17. This week-long sleep-away camp offers a wide range of activities that campers often can’t experience at home or school. Your child can enjoy everything from putt-putt golf to scuba diving, arts and crafts, beach walks, and so much more.
If that sounds like something your child might enjoy, we urge you to apply for a spot at Camp Leo. QUALIFIED APPLICANTS ARE AWARDED SPOTS ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS, SO APPLY TODAY!
Founded in 1975, Camp Leo is run by the Camp Leo Council of S.C. Inc., a 501(3)(c) corporation. With the help of numerous sponsors and community volunteers, we are able to offer a fun, engaging camp experience for visually-impaired children from across South Carolina, all for free. Our camp is held at St. Andrews by the Sea Methodist Church in Hilton Head, SC every year.
